Hands-On Mechatronics System
Robotic Elements provides lab modules and hardware for Mechatronics training for both, students and professionals. The Mechatronics Explorer Board lets students and professionals gain valuable theory and practical experience with typical robotic (mechatronic) systems and apply the theory learned in-class. The Mechatronics Explorer platform is a micro-controller development platform with on-board motor control capability and different types of sensors and I/O. The lab is also offered entirely remotely, allowing maximum flexibility for busy learners.
Gain hands-on skills to develop and implement embedded systems that control a typical robot.
Teach model based design using a real DC/EC motors.
Learn difficult concepts through hands-on lab modules, such as analog signal sampling, real-time execution, different communication protocols, sensor noise, and controlling a motor in velocity and position control.
Auto code generation using Matlab/Simulink and Microchip Toolbox. Generate executable code with the push of a button.
Key Benefits
- 5 Lab Modules
- 24/7 online simulation access to both hardware and software
- flexible scheduling at your convenience
- Short setup time
- Unlimited participants
What Students Say …
“Helps us understand how to run dspic and control stuff. I2C lab especially helped in learning how to use a manual”
“Learning how to use Simulink in this way to gain a new skill was a huge strength.”
“Really easy to use especially with Matlab framework already set up for labs.”
“It was really easy to schedule for remote hardware.”
“I like how it can be worked on whenever especially outside of school hours.”
“being able to run it 24/7 is a big plus.”
